Enhancement in Meeting Across Application

In this release, the Meeting module undergoes a significant update with the replacement of the existing Activity tab with the Quick Add Meeting screen throughout the application. The functionality remains unchanged, and the Scheduling Assistance has been seamlessly provided into the Quick Add Meeting screen.

Key Advantages:

• Quick Add Meeting now includes Scheduling Assistance.
• Retains original functionality and validations.
• The Description field, previously mandatory, is now an optional field, providing users with greater flexibility.
• Contacts:
  • The Invite Required Attendees field is now enriched with the Users Type functionality, allowing users to choose attendees through the Search Required Attendees fields. Users can enter email IDs, and the search required attendee field dynamically suggests matches as users input text, optimising the attendee selection process.
• Client:
  • The Client field now specifically displays information related to the client, excluding contact details.
• Attendees:
  • Users can now enter external email IDs in the Attendees field, allowing inclusion of individuals not part of the system. The system stores the first and last names of external IDs in the backend table, and the Meeting screen displays the corresponding email IDs.
• Search in Recent Activity
  • The Recent Activity screen now features a search functionality. Users can enter keywords to filter activities based on matching text. This search functionality mirrors the existing application’s search.
  • The search box has been aesthetically placed on the screen, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly design. The label change from Recent Activity to Activity has been implemented consistently across different areas for clarity.
• Single Selection: Users can now only choose a single organiser for a meeting.
• Disabled Multi-Selection Mode: The organiser selection is now in disabled mode for multiple selections.
• Default Value: The default value for the organiser field is set to the name of the logged user.
